5th International Congress "Flour-Bread '09" and the 7th Croatian Congress of Cereal Technologists "Brašno-Kruh '09", will take place in Opatija, Croatia from the 21st to 23rd October 2009. The main aim of this congress is to feature the latest advances and technologies in milling, baking bread, pasta, cookies, cake, breakfast foods, and others. The programme will include invited lecturers, oral presentations, posters and exhibition of process and laboratory equipment, cereal industry products and publications. The congress will also provide a forum for disseminating and gathering ideas and research results by leading scientists, government, as well as business leaders in cereals field.

IBA is by far the most important international specialist trade fair for bakers and confectioners. From 3 to 9 October 2009 it is taking place once again in Düsseldorf. The 57th Annual Cereal Chemistry Conference will be held from 5-10 August, 2007 at the RACV Club in Melbourne. Themes for this year’s conference include Health & Nutrition, Industrial Opportunities, New Technologies for Cereal Production & Processing, Genetic and Molecular Basis of Cereal Quality, amongst others. The conference is an annual showcase of new ideas and concepts in cereal science as well as a great networking opportunity.
